Arrival of a portion of the Relics of St. John Maximovitch
His Grace, Bp. Daniil of the Bulgarian Archdiocese of North America, Canada and Australia, brought a portion of the relics of St, John Maximovitch to our church, the Joy of All Who Sorrow Eastern Orthodox Church, Thursday, December 12th, 2013. He was greeted at the Indianapolis Airport and then came to our church where we had an Akathist to St. John. Many thanks to the Airport Authority, and our friend and parishioner Audrey Evans who helped everything go very smoothly for a wonderful spiritual event for all. Other priests and parishioners from around the central Indiana area participated in the event and the services, We had refreshments and fellowship afterwards.
